Software Policies

Last updated on July 17, 2022.

Plain language, common sense software policies. Be sure to read our End-User License Agreement ("EULA") for complete information. If this simple explanation is found to be inconsistent with the EULA, the EULA will prevail.

No Registration Required

TechTools does not require a log-in account, registration, or other personal information to download, install, uninstall or operate the software.

Install and Update Information

All of our products come with free lifetime software updates. Download the software and play with it. It does not require any special install or uninstall procedures. There are no keys, locks, registrations, copy protections or other unreasonable restrictions. You may install it as often as you like, on as many computers as you want, as long as you comply with the EULA. You can update to the latest version by downloading the installation file from our website and running it when you are ready.

Uninstall Information

No Special procedures are needed to uninstall the software. TechTools honors the standard uninstall capability provided by Microsoft's operating systems. This includes the ability to uninstall from the operating system's program uninstall features and in addition we provide a direct uninstall link icon from the program group created during the installation. Using either link will delete the program but leave any data captures or plug-ins you may have created.

Telemetry

Our software does not send telemetry, or any other data to us or any 3rd party. In fact, it never connects to the web at all.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new policy on the Website, and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.

You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this policy are effective when they are posted on the Website.
