It is our conclusion that all TechTools products are OUT OF THE SCOPE of the current RoHS directive because they fall under the section 9 classification, "Monitoring and Control Instrumentation." Items in this category are not covered by RoHS, meaning that they are not required to be free from the listed chemicals in order to be sold in the EU.

TechTools' Lead-Free Information:

Even though RoHS does not apply to our class of products, we are still taking steps to reduce the amount of lead in them. However, our products are not currently lead-free.
