How deep is DigiView's trace buffer?
Submitted by: TechTools
Because of DigiView's real-time hardware compression,
the capture depth (number of samples) varies with the nature of the data.
DigiView typically captures about 1 million samples at 10ns resolution. The
absolute minimum depth is 132 thousand samples, occuring only if the data lines
NEVER hold their value for more than 10ns (virtually impossible). With
relatively sparse data, the depth can go as high as 30 billion samples.
